Unleash Your Inspiration

Being Inspired is more than just a feeling — it's an inflow. Each and every one of us is given the freedom to make the most important decision of our life. We can choose to either believe that we are mere computer programs, evolved by accident with no purpose but to consume and produce. Or we can choose to believe that we come from something more — a Source / Creator / God, and we are here for a greater purpose and impact.

Most modern scientists today consider Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein the smartest scientists to ever live, and both Newton and Einstein strongly believed that their studies in science led them to the belief in an intentional Creator.

That's where Inspiration comes in. Inspiration literally means in-Spirit, or God-Breathed. At its highest level, Inspiration is more than just a fleeting feeling or creative spark — it is the Spirit of God stirring within you. It is calling you toward your greatest joy, deepest fulfillment, and most meaningful impact. It is the energy and connection of your Source. Therefore, there is no more important thing you can do than to accept this connection. If you do, your life can take on a whole new meaning and a different set of rules, such as living by faith over fear.

When you are Inspired—it’s an invitation. It’s the whisper of something greater for you. It's a nudging forward, guiding you toward the work, relationships, and purpose that aligns you with the highest version of yourself. It is energizing, and sometimes scary. The scary part comes from learning to relinquish a level of control to something more, and to trust that your needs will be met if you choose to step forward on faith beyond your fears. It's coming to the reality that your security doesn't come from the fleeting ideals and institutions of the world - but from God.

This kind of Inspiration requires a step of faith. Your action opens the doors for the synchronicities and resources that will bring your Inspiration to life—all for your greatest joy and to benefit the world. But to achieve it, you have to be able to transcend your own inner-programming and limitations, which requires courage and faith.

The Difference Between Motivation and Inspiration

Some people confuse motivation with Inspiration. Motivation comes from the push of external people, rewards, or even the pressures of a negative consequence. But Inspiration is the breath of Spirit moving through you, calling you forward.

Motivation says, “Do this because it will help you feel a certain way.”

Inspiration says, “This is who you were made to be. This is the direction and platform you can use to be the greatest good to the world.”

Motivation pushes. Inspiration guides.

7 Ways to Recognize Inspiration ➡️

1️⃣ Inspiration resonates deeply and feels empowering.

2️⃣ Inspiration aligns with love, truth, and goodness. (It will never go against those virtues).

3️⃣ Inspiration leads you toward growth. (It is never about fear, pride, greed, or lust).

4️⃣ Inspiration persists. It keeps coming back, inviting you beyond your perceived limits.

5️⃣ Inspiration often asks you to step out in faith before you see the whole path, trusting that each step will be revealed as you step forward.

6️⃣ Inspiration feels boundless. It gives you the enthusiasm and energy to wake up early and stay up late to follow your passion and talents.

7️⃣ Inspiration is humbling. Even if the outcome is something big or great, it reminds you that the enablement was a gift from God meant to be stewarded and shared.

The Power of Response

Inspiration is always an invitation. You always have the choice to accept it or not. When you respond positively to Inspiration, you get into divine alignment. You begin to live from a place of purpose, rather than a mindset of fear, survival, or conformity. You stop striving, and start thriving. You stop settling for less, and start walking boldly into more. See more about that here.

Every major breakthrough, every act of greatness, and every life-changing innovation is born out of someone saying yes to Inspiration.

Feeling Inspired?

If something has been stirring in your soul—an idea, a mission, or a positive step forward in your life—Inspiration may be knocking and giving you the divine invitation. Even if you can't see how something can happen - such as a breakthrough, overcoming an addiction, or achieving a bold goal - you can take a step forward and watch for the path to unfold.

Not Feeling Inspired??

If you're not experiencing a regular flow of Inspiration, it's probably just blocked. Often, it's our own thoughts, habits, or distractions that get in the way. Like clouds in the sky, but the light still shines. The good news is you can create space for Inspiration to flow fully in your life.

7 Steps to Help Connect with Your Flow of Inspiration  ➡️

1️⃣ Spend time in quiet contemplation and prayer. Allow time and space for your deepest promptings to bubble up from the unconscious levels of your being.

2️⃣ Slow down your mornings and evenings. Connect before your mind is overly stimulated or worn out from the day. Ask to receive dreams and ideas during sleep or in the shower, when your mind and other distractions aren't blocking your ability to hear it.

3️⃣ Read meaningful and sacred texts such as the Bible and other reflections for enduring guidance.

4️⃣ Practice stillness, such as meditation where you don't think about anything at all. If something comes up during meditation, just let it go - or jot it down for later. Clear the clutter from your mind so it can connect with your Inspiration.

5️⃣ Listen to uplifting music that stirs your soul and aligns with the Source of Inspiration. At the same time, reduce anything that conflicts with your highest values, or overly prioritizes fear, disconnection, lechery, or ego.

6️⃣ Have life-giving conversations with others. Be ok going beyond trivial talk, and dive deeper. It's often amazing what results from people you may have had no idea could transpire.

7️⃣ Journal. We often have great ideas, but we let distraction cloud us or cause us to forget, and lose momentum. Writing things down and referring back is a great way to continue good energy forward, and notice all the great things that have already come together.

By following these habits and sparks, the path usually starts to flow through. The following resources can help you take the next step:
