Eric sends the manuscript to publishing agents, but the unique blend of science and spirituality makes the target market unclear. Rather than compromise the integrity of the message, he chooses to offer it privately. He also attempts to trademark "The Law of Attention" but is denied by the USPTO for being too generic—a blessing in disguise that opens opportunities for a richer ecosystem.
